Please note:
- In North Carolina, it is illegal to dispose of a TV, or computer in a landfill. Your curbside collector will not pick up TVs or computers with your trash.
- Mecklenburg County will process residential plug-in type electronics at no cost when you bring them to one of the Full Service Drop Off Centers. There is a limit of 2 TVs or monitors.
- VHS or cassette tapes, CD’s, and any of their jewel cases are not recyclable and can be thrown away or donated. We cannot recycle tapes, CD’s or their jewel cases.
