Charlotte Mecklenburg Youth Council
The Charlotte‐Mecklenburg Youth Council (CMYC) is the official youth advisory council for City of Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, and the community at large. In CMYC, high school students meet regularly to advise community leaders, represent and serve as a voice for Charlotte‐Mecklenburg youth, learn how to solve civic challenges, and join a diverse network of young civic leaders. CMYC is a partnership of the City of Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, Charlotte‐Mecklenburg Schools, and Charlotte nonprofit GenerationNation.

Charlotte Digital Inclusion Alliance
Charlotte's Digital Inclusion Alliance (CDIA) endeavors to reduce the digital divide in Mecklenburg County from 19% to 9% by 2026 through a series of operational and policy proposals for public and private agencies, along with nonprofits in Mecklenburg County to advance the cause of digital equity. The alliance is comprised of several long-standing community stakeholders including Mecklenburg County. The County continues to look for ways to foster digital inclusion in our operations and in communication with the community at large.

Neighborhood Organization Contact List
The City of Charlotte Housing & Neighborhood Services Department maintains a subscription list of neighborhood leaders and residents throughout the City of Charlotte who have registered to receive communications from the City. This list is a valuable communications tool used by City and County agencies to engage the community on public initiatives, meetings, and projects that may impact their neighborhoods.
